Barrett Hodgson University – Belongingness of my workplace

Mental peace is indispensable,  particularly at your workplace. And that is only possible if you have that sense of belongingness towards your working environment. Before Joining Barrett Hodgson, I was completely engulfed in the process of working over my blog business, e-book and  e-course of Freelancing. I was writing my personal strategies of 3 years as a consistent freelance writer, virtual assistant to academic professors in UK and how I ended up being an Online instructor. I have learned so much all these years which is why I decided to amalgamate all the techniques of establishing and organizing an...

My sudden dissappearence from Blogging

I have been having a few comments from my readers who came across my blog through my facebook page. I am obliged to know that I am an inspiration for them. It feels good to receive comments from readers about whatever you write, no matter how silly it is. I have always tried to be very honest and real in my approach which is also one of the reasons that I have received positive comments from my readers. My sudden disappearance from blogging is not because I am among those wanna be zealot bloggers that tend to be the...

Our 2nd Anniversary and Islam’s 1st Birthday

My favorite phrase “Time flies” fits perfectly for this post. There were days when I tirelessly worked at the university oblivious from rest of the responsibilities and than “boom”. I got married to my man who flew me to Karachi with a permanent ” bye-bye ” to everything that I owned back in Quetta. And there I was ! all alone in a new home with a bundle of responsibilities to start with. Decorating Home , learning to cook and building up a balanced life with my Husband since we had an arrange marriage and It took me a lot...

And you really need to know this …

I have been having a lot of messages these days. Particularly after Rehan Allahwala gave my Udemy urdu course link about ” How to earn online as a freelancer in People per hour platform”. I have been freelancing for years now. And I came across various portals of freelance that had their own ways of working. So I thought I should start making small courses about such platforms that could give them an idea about how their functionality. And it would enable them to go with the flow. In this course of mine that I just recently published has...

Lessons Learned after Watching Piku Movie

I returned back on 26th July 2015 to Karachi after celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr with my family at Quetta. It was a tough ask to return back without my wife ( Marjan Arbab ) & baby ( Islam Khan ) , but sometimes sacrifices are needed to meet the committed obligations. Marjan’s took the hardest decision by resigning from reputable position of lectureship at BUITEMS however, she has to serve the university for a month in account of notice period to avoid financial penalties and ending up her tenure on a good note. Even though, it hurts to leave the place where you have memories of 7 years includes 4 years of education and 3 years of teaching experience, but she took the sour sip for myself & baby.   So, I have been home alone in Karachi since 26th July enjoying the so called freedom, but the fact is that, I miss my wife & cute baby. I need to keep myself busy in something to avoid loneliness, so I keep myself engaged in office work on weekdays and used to sleep for long hour, watch movies, blogging on weekends to enjoy my time. Tonight, I watched “PIKU” movie and luckily I found a quality torrent after a long wait of 2 months. The movie is about the father & daughter relationship even though their way of thinking are totally...

Altaf Hussain Threatens KE – Karachi Electric

In our childhood days we used to write an essay “ My Best Friend “ which mostly start with the sentence; I have many friend, but my best friend is Hammad because of following qualities. Since last few days, I want to write  an essay “ My Best Leader “ to appraise not only my favorite but also leader of entire nation non other than great “ Altaf Bhai. So, my essay starts with: We have many leaders in Pakistan, but my favorite leader is Altaf Hussain because he remains with the nation in good or bad times. As a reader and supporter of opposition party you must be wondering why I am supporting a leader of MQM party who has been in news headlines and target of Pakistan securities agencies since last few months due to one or another reasons. Well, I have every right to support my great leader Altaf Hussain as he is the one who has raised the voice for me at the tough time when myself & family are feeling the heat of Karachi due to unscheduled load shedding of KE. As a innocent national of this country, I had raised my voice to KE via available communication channels but as usual nothing fruitful happened to bring light in our life. I lost my hopes regarding restoration of lights in our area and got...

Why every Women must Learn to Cook

I confess change is good. I always declare that I am never into makeup and fashion compared to the rest of my family members. Simplicity always attracted me. Even though I barely change anything in my own appearance yet whenever I do, I somehow like the results.  And so I did today, dark hair streaks that brings a light shade to my black thin hairs. I was even more satisfied when the salon’s owner was showing the results to other clients who were not willing to have strong blonde streaks.  And by the way, I must praise the salon...

My new domain with existing ideas

When you try , you learn. And everyday i learned by reading different blogs particularly written by women who wrote about how they live their lives in their own ways. Surprisingly, I found out that many of them have left their jobs to become a full t-me mother and pro-bloggers and were having a very nice amount of income from just a single blog. It included everything about what they do and how they do it. What fascinated me even more was that such websites were comparatively having more traffic . And i felt that yes! It feels exciting to read about others doing something different from us. so decidedly, instead of running a website on my own name. I thought to give it a try of making it not just personal but commercial. And so i came up with Flavors in Life. Since a women ends up doing so many things in her life, i decided to discuss all the flavors that my life giving me. The content will almost remain the same. The details that i would be giving are: Travelling on a Budget Providing Details and contact info about low cost but comfortable accommodations Pictures of the roads and infrastructure with further guidelines through google and the exact time it takes to reach a certain destination. Its because google doesn’t considers the condition of the road and...
