Although I was never into food and cooking before marriage. But when I started this new phase and was completely alone at home. I had no choice but to take out the finest recipes from the internet, called my mother and cousins for the best dishes they know and started trying them one by one. Believe me it all about practicing. The more you cook , the better would it turn out to be every time. This one is an old recipe of one of the most simple yet the tastiest chatnis I have ever made. I thought to share it step by step. It has been my husband’s favourite even when he always have a NO-NO to all other chatnis and pickles.
Step 1 . The Ingredients
You need Coriander leaves, Mint leaves and a handful of Tamarind.
Step 2
Soak the tamarind in a Glass of water – Do not add alot of water , the thicker the better.
Step 3
Add Mint and Coriander leaves with 3 tablespoon sugar and a pinch of salt. Add the WATER of the soaked tamarind. (Do not add the beans of the tamarind)

Grind until it looks like this –
Dont forget to have it with any of your spicy dishes or simply with white rice.
